After a long and varied career in classical music, Dale gold has settled in Queenstown, where he now finds time to explore his jazz roots. Prior to spending nearly three decades as principal double bass of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Dale enjoying gigs as varied as the Philadelphia Lyric Opera, Philadelphia Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as well as chamber music and recording work at the famous Sigma Sound Studio. Jazz experiences have included The New Zealand Jazz Orchestra, the Tom Szczesniak Quartet, The Harvey Maguire Trio and Remarkable Dixie.
One of Queenstown's busiest and most versatile musicians, pianist Mark Wilson is legendary for his skill at turning his hand to all styles of music. You'll find Mark playing with the Master Blasters, The Jive Pranksters, With a Twist, or at the church organ on Sunday.
